About Energy Law today

Energy Law today is born with the purpose of providing information, materials and analysis about energy law in the EU and the US. Energy law is a fascinating but relatively unknown world, which deserves more attention. Moreover, there is a lack of centralized information about the major initiatives undertaken by both the US and the EU in the field in order to provide a comparative analysis.

This website is created and maintained by Javier García-Lomas Gago. I´m a spanish attorney working for Perez Moreno LLP, a spanish law firm specialized in land use and environmental law. I am also Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Seville and Summer Faculty at Vermont Law School. I graduated from law school in Seville first of my class and got my Masters Degree in Environmental Law with honors at Vermont Law School. I specialized in renewable energy law and worked as a Research Assistant for Vermont Law School´s Institute for Energy and the Environment, under the direction of Michael Dworkin.

I hope you enjoy this website and the information and analysis it provides.
